(Rimini, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Andres Galan, Sales Manager at Octavian Lab , granted an exclusive interview to SoloAzar after recent ENADA show. "Being back to this kind of events has been as a breath of fresh air, I've lived it with great joy and enthusiasm."
How have you experienced the fact of meeting again face to face in a traditional show? ¿How has been the reunion with other exhibitors and visitors?
Being back to this kind of events has been as a breath of fresh air, I've lived it with great joy and enthusiasm. Meeting our customers, partners, suppliers and friends once again in person has been awesome. Meetings have been made under the required safety measures due to the sanitary regulation but at the same time everything has flown normally.
What are the main novelties that the firm has presented in ENADA in terms of product releases?
We have officially presented our own aggregator called Casino Hub Software which we already operate with in Italy with more than 15 providers in our portfolio. We keep on working to scale up the list with another 10 new suppliers throughout the year. The distribution of this vast selection of the best international game providers will further complete our catalog of services. In addition, we have presented a dedicated and easy to manage back-office for affiliates' points of sale, and many improvements to the AGP tools such as reporting, communication, gamification.
With regard to the Italian games of chance market, what is the current situation?
The long period in which game rooms have been closed has generated a strong imbalance between the land-based and the online branches of this sector. Although the situation has slightly stabilized when game rooms have been able to reopen, by then players' behavior had evolved, as the growth rate of the online branch indicates. In this sense there is a high demand for new licenses from new concessionaires and even for the renewal of existing licenses from operating concessionaires.
In your view, What perspectives do you foresee for the near future in Italy?
The future is largely the online, it is the playground of the new generations and where the possibilities to perform, experiment and change become endless. Online everything changes faster, adapt or perish is an imperative. The gamification tool, which is a process of implementation of game dynamics (such as achieving points, levels, rewards, badges, etc.) that facilitates the stimulation of the player, together with an effective communication tool are the best allies to achieve players' loyalty to a more complete product. We consider them a guarantee of success and that's why they are key tools that we already offer and that we continue to develop.
What are the main goals of the company for 2022?
Our short-medium term goal is the internationalization of our product. Our core business is our accounting gaming platform (AGP) which is multi-regulator, multi-license, multi-skin, multi-currency and multi-lingual. These characteristics, tools that allow to manage your business at 360º, and the fact that it has been developed to work in the Italian regulated market under one of the most demanding and complex legislations, make our AGP a perfect partner to conquer any international regulated market.
